Well anyone who knows me knows how much I love shoes. I have shoes for every season, and usually every different occasion requires a new pair of shoes. I haven’t gotten to really buy myself any new shoes as of late, but I did by a new pair of shoes the other day. I only paid 3 dollars for them, and my husband calls them my cute little sexy shoes. Im not sure I would go that far, but man they are too cute for words. I actually sat down and counted my pairs of shoes. I have enough shoes to wear a different pair for almost 2 weeks. I think that might be considered allot of shoes, but if I had my way, I would have many many more.
Well I recieved some beautiful string of pearls the other day. I can’t get over how gorgeous they are. After recieving them and looking at all the information that came with them, I was suprised at just how much I do not know about pearls. These are freshwater pearls and very very pretty. I didn’t know that simple things like sunblock, could cause them to dull. I do feel special though, something so pretty all mine. But Im not going to keep them, Im actually going to give them to my daughter when she gets a little older. I even made a little video to that effect. Definitely should check out PearlParadise.com, its so worth it, I just like looking at all the different pearls they have. So gorgeous.Â
So I guess my brother in law is trying to talk my my ex sister in law into agreeing to him moving. Ok, first, I know they have kids, but I wasn’t aware that he has to have her permission since they are divorced and both have moved on. Well hes talking about moving to North Carolina, yes I know that is far away, but hes been planning it all out and trying to do it smart. Hes already talked about North Carolina health insurance through his job, and he would have excellent benefits. He would want the kids in the summer, and he even offered to come here for holidays since all the family is here anyhow. He drives across country all the time anyhow so hes not worried about makin the trip. But shes really throwin a huge hissy on this, so I don’t see it happening. She can take them out of school for a few weeks to almost a month and jet them off to London with her new hubby, but he has to have permission to move and see his children. Thats a sign to me that there is a big ole problem.
Well we have been doing some serious thoughts about our summer vacation. We try to take a trip every year and this year we are wanting to take one, but alas, since the cost of everything is so high, we are realistic and know that there won’t be some big family trip this year. But that doesn’t mean we can’t plan something for next year. So we were looking at trips of all sorts. Im think beaches and sun and fun fun fun. That gives me a whole year to get my body bathing suit purty. I was thinking Orlando vacations, there could be a bit of fun for all of us, not just myself. So we get to start saving. Thats always the hard part though, Im determined.
Well here in West Point they have a huge garage sale for the town 2 times a year. I was lucky I got to go browsing around at this one. I was lucky enough to find some great little things for the house. For example I love windchimes and my daugther found me a great indian one and she got it for a nickle. Now you just can’t beat that. I found some other great things as well. I wish we had more room in this house because someone was selling some beautiful office furniture, at a very reasonable price. But I just don’t have anyplace for it. I did get some little decor things that I don’t need but I still liked them, and I found some teapot pictures for my mother inlaw. She really likes that sort of thing. This was just round 1, I still get to go around again later today hopefully after the swim meet..
